Epox-Zen Two Component Epoxy Primers™
Epox-Zen™ two component Epoxy primers are available in low solids (Epox-Zen™ LSP), medium solids (Epox-Zen™ MSP) and high solids (Epox-Zen™ HSP) formulations offering the finest in corrosion protection, chemical resistance, adhesion and topcoat hold-out. Providing durable protection over ferrous and non-ferrous metals, certain FPRs and composites, Epox-Zen™ Epoxy Primers are a substantial upgrade from conventional alkyd primers.
Typical Applications: Agricultural and construction equipment, power transformers, liquid storage tanks, recreation vehicles, transportation, general metal finishing under urethane topcoats.
Ura-Zen P Urethane Primer™
Ura-Zen™ P Urethane Primers are specifically formulated for any application which requires excellent weatherability with wet-on-wet spray capability under urethane topcoats. Allows for rapid recoat while offering outstanding corrosion protection, chemical resistance, adhesion and topcoat hold-out and uses the same catalyst as many of our urethane topcoats.
Typical Applications: Trucks, trailers, and other transportation equipment, agricultural and construction equipment, liquid storage tanks, signage, recreational vehicles and general metal finishing under urethane topcoats.
Ura-Zen ERP Primer™
Ura-Zen™ ERP Extended Recoatable Primer is a high-solids, HAPS-free, low VOC urethane primer with long-term recoatability. Using the same catalyst as many of our urethane topcoats, it is similar in performance to Hentzen Epoxy Primers.
Typical Applications: Industrial applications where long-term recoatability without sanding is desired.
Ura-Zen AP Acrylic Urethane Topcoat™
Ura-Zen™ AP is a high-solids, 3.5 VOC, HAPS-free, single stage two component acrylic urethane topcoat that features outstanding durability, excellent gloss retention, high DOI and ease of application. Available in a wide variety of colors, including metallic and pearls.
Typical Applications: Agricultural and construction equipment, marine engines, boats, liquid storage tanks, signage, recreational vehicles, trucks, trailers and other transportation equipment.
Dura-Zen Powder Coatings®
Dura-Zen Primers®
Dura-Zen® powder primers are corrosion resistant and are suitable for use on both interior and exterior products. Available as Epoxy, Zinc Rich Epoxy, Polyester, Hybrid and Combat Grade primers.
Typical Applications: Agriculture and construction equipment, snow blades, power transformers, recreation vehicles, defense vehicles, hardware, ground support equipment and components, transportation.
Dura-Zen Hybrid®
Dura-Zen® Hybrid topcoats are blended from epoxy and polyester resins to produce films that are an economical alternative to standard epoxy and polyester coatings. Hybrid coatings share many characteristics with standard epoxy-based powder coatings, but include improved resistance to over-bake yellowing during cure, somewhat softer films and slightly improved weatherability. Offering good chemical resistance properties, good corrosion resistance properties and limited UV exposure properties. Hybrid coatings primarily function as decorative interior coatings and are not considered suitable for exterior applications, even though their deterioration and discoloration when exposed to sunlight is slower than pure epoxies.
Typical Applications: Agriculture and construction equipment, office furniture, shelving, general metal finishing, hot water heaters, power tools, fire extinguishers and oil filters.
Dura-Zen Polyester®
Dura-Zen® Polyester/TGIC powder coatings are highly durable and have good chemical resistance, offer excellent UV resistance and good corrosion resistance. Suitable for both interior and exterior products and available in several degrees of durability including standard durable TGIC (good), super durable (better) and ultra-durable (best). Polyester powder coatings typically exhibit good edge coverage, flow and leveling. Can be formulated in smooth, textures, river textures, veins, leather textures and more.
Typical Applications: Agriculture and construction equipment, recreational vehicles, aluminum extrusions, automotive parts, air conditioners, point-of-purchase displays, fencing, gas cylinders, lawn and garden equipment, lawn furniture, appliances, pipe coatings and electrical enclosures.
Dura-Zen Super Durable TGIC Polyester®
Dura-Zen® Super Durable TGIC Polyester powder topcoats are high gloss coatings designed for high performance exterior applications where outstanding weathering properties are desired. Dura-Zen® super durable features excellent weather resistance, light-fastness, anti-yellowing properties, and excellent flow and leveling.
Typical Applications: Agriculture and construction equipment, outdoor furniture, railings, playground equipment, towers, steel structures and building facades.
Dura-Zen Polyester Urethane®
Dura-Zen® Polyester Urethane topcoats combine very smooth, exceptional thin film capabilities, with excellent mar and chip resistance and good weathering properties. Suitable for both interior and exterior products and available in standard durable (good) or super durable (better). Adhesion to properly pretreated substrates will provide very durable coatings with long-term resistance to humidity, UV resistance and corrosion. Can be formulated to offer excellent chemical resistance properties.

Endura-Zen Non-Stick Interior Coating™

Sterilkote Container Linings®
Sterilkote 12 — Clear Gold Phenolic Lining®
This hi-bake phenolic lining series exhibits excellent acid and solvent resistance, but provides limited impact resistance and is not recommended with alkaline products.
Sterilkote 15 — Brown Phenolic Lining®
This generally has the same resin base, chemical resistance and performance as Sterilkote® 12 linings. Like the clear version, these products provide excellent acid and solvent resistance.
Sterilkote 15M — Brown Modified Phenolic Lining®
By incorporating epoxy resin into the base phenolic system, this series provides flexibility and impact resistance not available in pure phenolic coatings. This modification makes them more alkaline resistant than straight phenolics, but with somewhat lower resistance to strong acids and solvents.
Sterilkote 46 — Buff Epoxy Phenolic Lining®
This series offers highly flexible epoxy linings modified with phenolic resin to provide a broad range of chemical resistance. These linings show excellent resistance to detergents, mild solvents, alkaline products and esters.
Sterilkote 48 — Olive Green Phenolic Lining®
This Series is comparable in performance to both Sterilkote® 12 and 15, but has pigments that are initially gray and turn olive drab when baked.
Sterilkote 71 — Clear Gold Epoxy Phenolic®
This series is based on the same composition as Sterilkote® 46, but clear gold in color.
Sterilkote 300 — Brown or Buff Epoxy Phenolic®
These linings are low-temperature cured. They will normally cure to full performance in 5–6 minutes at 400°F, although commercially they are often cured at 350–375°F for adequate performance. In many applications, Sterilkote® 300 linings have a high degree of MEK resistance at lower temperatures and were designed to resist a broad range of chemicals.
though similar in composition (epoxy phenolic blends) to our Sterilkote® 46 and 15M linings, Sterilkote® 300 linings may not always be interchangeable with their high-bake counterpart.

Aqua-Zen™ AL™
Aqua-Zen™AL acrylic latex topcoats are interior water-based, low VOC, HAPS-free coatings which can be applied directly to ferrous and non-ferrous metals and numerous plastic substrates. Ideal for industrial applications where fast drying, low VOC coatings are required. Aqua-Zen™ AL exhibits excellent adhesion, and is more environmentally friendly than traditional solvent-based coatings.

Poly-Zen™ B™
Poly-Zen™ B baking enamels are polyester or acrylic melamine baking enamels intended for interior applications where a hard, durable coating is required. These VOC-compliant, solvent-based coatings are designed to thermally cure for increased processing efficiencies and offer a durable direct-to-metal finish.
Typical Applications: Oven range hoods, sheet metal enclosures, appliances, hydraulic cylinders, coil coating applications, office furniture and many other thermal cure applications.
-Zen® Epoxy®
Dura-Zen® Epoxy powder topcoats offer excellent adhesion, flexibility and abrasion resistance for interior or decorative applications not subject to prolonged UV radiation. Epoxy powder topcoats can be formulated to be FDA compliance or as functional coatings for substrate protection where inherent toughness, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance or temperature sensitivity is needed. Epoxy powder topcoats are not recommended on products that will be subject to exterior exposure.
Typical Applications: Appliances, indoor metal furniture, general metal finishing, pipe coatings, under-hood automotive components, rebar, battery boxes, electrical equipment, motors, hospital equipment, high voltage switch gear, PC boards and battery cases.

Marine Shield™™
Marine Shield™ powder coatings are fluoropolymer-enhanced Super Durable coatings designed for above waterline aluminum substrates in marine environments. Featuring superior gloss and color retention, they exhibit outstanding weathering performance and excellent filiform corrosion resistance (per ASTM G85 testing) as well as superior adhesion. Marine Shield™ utilizes premium pigments to ensure long-lasting color and excellent flow and leveling properties ensure a smooth, defect-free finish. Available in white, black and custom color formulations. Marine Prime™, a specialty primer for use on aluminum castings to resist filiform corrosion in marine environments, is also available.
Typical Applications: Boat components such as center console frames, T-tops, tuna towers, and railings on personal watercraft, sailboats, yachts and commercial fishing vessels. Can be used on aluminum hulls of Swift boats and DIBs if the application system is large enough to accommodate them. It is also used on benches and waste receptacles which are placed along shorelines.

Dura-Zen® Hybrid®
Dura-Zen® Hybrid topcoats are blended from epoxy and polyester resins to produce films that are an economical alternative to standard epoxy and polyester coatings. Hybrid coatings share many characteristics with standard epoxy-based powder coatings, but include improved resistance to over-bake yellowing during cure, somewhat softer films and slightly improved weatherability. Offering good chemical resistance properties, good corrosion resistance properties and limited UV exposure properties. Hybrid coatings primarily function as decorative interior coatings and are not considered suitable for exterior applications, even though their deterioration and discoloration when exposed to sunlight is slower than pure epoxies.

Epoxy powder topcoats can be formulated to be FDA compliance or as functional coatings for substrate protection where inherent toughness, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance or temperature sensitivity is needed. Epoxy powder topcoats are not recommended on products that will be subject to exterior exposure.

Poly-Zen™ is a fast drying, high-gloss, single component alkyd enamel coating that is an ideal finish for a variety of metal applications including utility trailers and hauling dumpsters.
