Chrome-free primer: Optimizing corrosion resistance and painter safety.
While hex-chrome is an extremely effective material used in coatings for corrosion resistance, it is extremely toxic. To eliminate this environmental hazard, Hentzen was the first to develop a chrome-free primer that meets the stringent military specification requirements. And while that innovative, non-chrome coating continues to be the industry standard, we didn’t stop there. We’ve been hard at work, developing next-gen chrome-free primers and chemical pretreatments for aircraft that are currently in test today.

With an extensive two-component aerosol and touch up portfolio, we’ve always had your high-performance coating repair needs covered—and now we can deliver even faster. With automated 2k aerosol, and touch-up manufacturing in-house, we deliver OEM quality with unrivaled lead times.
